Is it “derr-bee” or “darr-bee?” I don’t know, but now I do know that it’s a fast-paced and action-packed sport; one that inspires passion in the competitors just as much as it does in the fans.

I think I was the only person not in some sort of costume. Sorry gang, I let the team down… but no one needs to see me in fishnets. The spectators get involved in dressing up, but it doesn’t end there, with each competitor personalising their uniform to be as intimidating, cute, clever or just as much fun as possible.

Well… I say “uniform”… But they are clearly more accurately described as “fashion statements”.

What a great night. You girls are way tougher than me.
