What? You haven’t ever seen a metalcore band with a guitarist in a wheelchair before?

Neither had I.

It turns out that guitarist Luke Kilpatrick had broken his ankle surfing (although, coming from Byron, he really should be better at it — amiright? Their beach is pretty awesome). Rather than cancel the show, he sat in a wheelchair and rocked out.

Like a rockstar. An Aussie rockstar. He actually looked pretty laid-back doing it, too.

And, I mean, really. Who doesn’t love the combination of screaming, throat-shredding vocals, and an inflatable rainbow?

Nobody, that’s who.
