Kasabian! Again!
A-year-and-a-half ago Kasabian played the first concert I photographed. So it’s pretty cool to me that they’re also the first band I’ve shot twice.
Rain didn’t manage to dampen anyone’s spirits, with the queues for the outdoor bars remaining popular despite the weather — proving once again that punters know and respect the importance of thorough hydration.
I’ve learnt a lot in the past year-and-a-half. I’ve learnt to watch out for pyrotechnics, discovered that some performers don’t like to be shot from the pit (modesty, perhaps?), and had fun hanging from the rafters. Never a dull moment!
I wonder what the next year-and-a-half will bring. I’m looking forward to My Chemical Romance later this week, and Incubus the week after that. This is no time to stop and reminisce!
